Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what jeet-city-casinos.ca collects, why, how long it is kept and what you can do about it. It applies to this website only. It does not cover the casino operator, which handles registration, identity checks and payments under its own documents and holds data we never see.

The short version: this site has no registration, no login and no payment form, so the volume of personal data involved is small, and most of it is the technical record any web server produces.

What personal data this site collects

Two streams, and they behave differently.

Technical data, collected automatically. Your IP address, the browser and version, the operating system and device class, screen dimensions, the language your browser requests, the pages you open, the page that sent you here, and timestamps. All of it arrives at the server because that is how HTTP works: a request cannot be answered without it. IP addresses are treated as personal data under Canadian law even though they identify a connection rather than a named person, so they are covered here.

Data you give us deliberately. If you write through the contact page, we receive the email address you send from, whatever you put in the message, and the date. Nothing else on this site asks for input. We do not run newsletters, do not host user accounts and do not operate comment threads.

What is not collected is worth stating plainly, because readers arriving from a casino search reasonably assume the worst: no names beyond what you type yourself, no dates of birth, no addresses, no identity documents, no banking or card details, no gambling history.

Why the data is processed

Technical data serves three purposes: delivering pages correctly to the device asking for them, protecting the site against abusive traffic and scraping, and producing aggregate readership statistics that tell us which pages to expand or rewrite. Correspondence data serves one purpose only, which is replying to you and following up if the exchange continues.

None of it is used for behavioural advertising, and none of it is combined with data from other sources to build a profile of you.

The legal framework in Canada

The federal statute is PIPEDA, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. It is built on ten fair information principles, and the ones that shape this page are: name a purpose before you collect, collect only what that purpose needs, obtain meaningful consent, keep the data accurate, protect it with safeguards proportionate to its sensitivity, be open about your practices, give individuals access to what you hold, and answer complaints.

Three provinces run their own private-sector regimes recognised as substantially similar: Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia. If you live in one of them, the provincial statute may apply to your dealings with us instead of the federal one, and Quebec’s rules on consent and transparency are the strictest of the three. Either way, the practical rights described further down are close to identical.

Data, purpose, retention and basis

Data Purpose Retention Basis
IP address, request timestamps Delivering pages, security, blocking abusive traffic Server logs kept up to 12 months Necessary to provide the service you requested
Browser, operating system, device class, screen size, language Rendering pages correctly and testing layouts on real device mixes Up to 12 months, then aggregate only Necessary to provide the service; implied consent
Pages opened, entry page, referring page, time on page Readership statistics that decide which pages get rewritten Identifiers up to 12 months; aggregate counts kept longer Express consent through the analytics cookie category
Email address and message content Replying to your enquiry Up to 24 months after the last message in the thread Express consent — you provided it to get an answer
Cookie consent record Honouring and evidencing your cookie choice Up to 12 months, then the banner returns Accountability under privacy law

Disclosure to third parties, and what we do not do

Data is not sold, rented or traded. It is not passed to advertising networks or data brokers. There is no list of buyers because there are no buyers.

Third parties touch it in two places. Our hosting and content delivery providers process technical data because they carry the traffic. Analytics processing happens only if you accepted the analytics cookie category, and the resulting reports are aggregate. Beyond those, disclosure happens only where Canadian law compels it: a valid court order, or a lawful request from a public authority.

Some limits matter especially for a site on this subject. We do not collect payment information, because nothing here can be paid for. We have no access to your casino account, balance, bonus status, identity documents or withdrawal queue; the operator holds those and only the operator can act on them, through the support channel it publishes, [email protected]. And we cannot cancel a withdrawal, reinstate an account or resolve a dispute on your behalf, so writing to us about one costs you time you would spend better on the operator’s live chat.

Storage and security

Traffic runs over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and this site is encrypted in transit. Access to server logs and the contact inbox is limited to the people who need it to keep the site running or to answer you.

Hosting and delivery infrastructure may sit outside Canada. Where that happens, the data may be reachable by authorities in that country under its own laws. Saying so is a disclosure PIPEDA requires of us, not a loophole we are leaning on. No security arrangement is absolute, and email in particular is not a confidential channel, so please do not send identity documents, account numbers or anything you would not want stored in an ordinary inbox.

Your rights and how to use them

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected if it is wrong, ask for it to be deleted, and withdraw consent you gave earlier. Withdrawing analytics consent is done in the browser and is covered in the cookie policy; the rest goes through the contact page.

Send the request from the email address concerned, describe what you want, and expect a reply within 30 days, which is the response window PIPEDA sets. Deletion has limits worth knowing in advance: correspondence may be kept where a legal obligation requires it, and aggregate statistics that no longer point to any device cannot be unpicked to remove one visitor.

If the answer does not satisfy you, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada accepts complaints about federally regulated handling of personal data, and the Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia authorities do the same within their provinces. Details are published at priv.gc.ca.

Children and age limits

This site is written for adults of legal gambling age and is not directed at minors. That threshold is 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec, and 19 in every other province and territory. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone below the age that applies where they live, and if we learn that such data reached us through the contact form, it is deleted.

Anyone gambling in Canada can reach free provincial support lines, including Gambling Support BC on 1-888-795-6111, AGLC GameSense in Alberta on 1-800-272-8876 and Jeu: aide et référence in Quebec on 1-800-461-0140. The Responsible Gambling Council lists more.

Changes to this privacy policy

The date at the foot of this page is the last revision. Wording is updated when practice changes, when Canadian privacy law moves, or when a reader points out something unclear. Material changes to what is collected or how long it is kept are flagged on the site rather than quietly slipped in, and the current version is always the one published here.

FAQ

What personal data does this site collect?

Technical data every web server receives, meaning IP address, browser, operating system, device class, pages opened, referring page and timestamps, plus anything you type yourself into the contact form. No names, birthdates, addresses, identity documents or financial details are collected, because no form here asks for them.

Do you sell my data?

No. It is not sold, rented or shared with advertising networks or data brokers. Technical data is handled by hosting and analytics providers acting on our behalf, and disclosure otherwise happens only where Canadian law compels it.

How do I request deletion?

Write from the address concerned through the how we protect the data we hold, state what you want removed, and expect an answer within 30 days. Analytics data on your device is cleared faster by deleting this domain’s cookies in your browser, which also withdraws the consent behind it.

Does this site collect payment details?

No. There is nothing to buy here, no deposit form and no card field. Payment and identity data goes to the operator when you register there, under its documents, and we have no access to it, including the KYC files that decide how quickly a withdrawal clears.
